Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data LEX Practical Litigation collects, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, and (if you choose) profession, college or court, and city.
- Purchases: the course bought, amount, offer or coupon used, and the payment reference from Razorpay. We do not receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank login details.
- Learning activity: lessons completed and where you left off.
- Messages you send through the enquiry form, waitlist or feedback form. Feedback you post is shown publicly with your name and profession.
- Basic technical data needed to keep the site secure, such as sign-in sessions and failed login attempts.
Why we use it
To create your account, give you access to the courses you buy, send receipts, answer your questions, prevent account sharing and fraud, and improve the courses. We do not sell or rent your data.
Payments and refunds
Payment records (amount, course, Razorpay payment ID) are kept to give you access and for tax and accounting. All course purchases are final: once paid, a course cannot be cancelled and is non-refundable, except for failed or duplicate payments as described in the Refund & Cancellation policy.
Who processes it for us
Razorpay (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (website hosting), Bunny.net and Cloudinary (video and file delivery), and, if switched on, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (anonymous usage statistics). Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.
Cookies
One essential cookie keeps you signed in; one session cookie stops the opening animation from repeating. Analytics cookies are used only if analytics is switched on.
Watermark
Lesson videos show your email and mobile number as a watermark to discourage recording and sharing.
How long we keep it
Account and learning data are kept while your account is active. Payment records are kept as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Enquiries are deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to pankajkerlaval.adv@gmail.com. Deleting your account ends access to your courses. We reply within 30 days.
